Tips to Read Urine Drug Screen
To read Urine Drug Screen for test results, there are two lines on each strip to be the indication: the control line (C) and the test line (T). Each of them has a different function, the control line shows that the test is working correctly, and the test line indicates if the drug is present or not.
When both lines are showing on the card of urine drug screen panel, the result is negative, which means that the drug level in your urine sample is lower than the cutoff level.
When the card shows the control line, the result is positive, which means that the drug level in your urine sample is higher than the cutoff level.
When urine drug screen panel shows no lines, or only the test line, the result is invalid, which means that the test is not working properly or you did not provide enough urine in the cup. You can see some examples of negative, positive, and invalid results in this image.
